We had the honor to investigate the famous Brown Mansion in Coffeyville Kansas again in 2021. This was probably our most active night there to date. Completed in 1904, the Brown Mansion is a three-story, 16-room mansion built at a wholesale cost of $125,000. The main floor includes a living room (called the hall), parlor, music room, library, conservatory, dining room, billiard room, entry, kitchen, and maids’ quarters. Five bedrooms and three full baths are located on the second floor. The entire third floor is a ballroom, which at times served as a schoolroom and gymnasium for Brown’s son. A full basement houses the butler’s quarters, laundry area, heating system, walk-in ice box, wine cellar and other storage rooms.

Up in the ballroom, part of the team heard chairs moving by themselves and displaced noises. They also asked for objects to move and they did. There’s also an EVP of a woman humming at 2:30, this was not Caroline who you see in the clip.
This was a really strange but neat thing that happened while down in the basement! As Jeff was recording Amanda walking through, there’s suddenly a loud noise behind Jeff. They immediatly try to figure out what the noise was. Turns out, a screwdriver that was on a ledge had been thrown at them! No one else was downstairs at this time. In the next videos there is more explination.
Here is the beginning part of the full length video where it shows the screwdriver on the ledge. This was about 3 minutes before it was thrown at them. You can see from the far end of the ledge to where the screwdriver lands, it’s about a good 20 feet or more.
Here is the full video in its entirety. The evidence starts around 26:07 and goes from there. After careful analysis and debunking we truly do believe that an entity threw the screwdriver at us.
