We had the honor to investigate the historic Cain’s Ballroom back in 2009. Keep in mind audio recording was not digital back then (at least for ghost hunting) and the recorders used had mini tapes. The audio is a bit harder to hear on these older investigations.
Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma, opened in 1924, is a historic music venue renowned as the “Home of Bob Wills” and the birthplace of Western Swing. Originally a dance academy, it transformed over the decades into a hub for country, rock, and punk music, hosting legendary artists like Hank Williams, the Sex Pistols, and The Ramones. Beyond its vibrant music history, Cain’s is also steeped in paranormal lore. Staff and concertgoers have reported eerie encounters, including apparitions, cold spots, and unexplained sounds. Some say a ghostly figure wanders near the stage or balcony, adding a mysterious edge to the venue’s rich, rhythmic past.

Photos
We know this photo will be heavily scrutinized. As stated above, in 2012, equipment for paranormal investigating was pretty limited. We took this photo with a digital camera that was new at the time. We caught this shadow figure in the Ballroom. We tried to recreate it several times and did not have any success doing so.
