Constantine Theater 2019

The Constantine Theatre in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, built in 1914, is one of the oldest operating theaters in the state. Originally opened as a venue for vaudeville performances, it later became a popular movie theater, showcasing the golden age of cinema. Known for its French Renaissance architectural style, the Constantine was restored in the 1980s to preserve its historical charm. Paranormal tales have become a part of its legend, with visitors and staff reporting ghostly sightings and strange sounds. Some say the spirit of a former owner roams the halls, while others believe past performers haunt the stage, creating an eerie yet captivating atmosphere in this beloved Oklahoma landmark.

EVPs

"So Many Years/They're Talking About Us/Laughing"

We were under the stage doing an EVP session when Jeremiah and Amanda decided to walk up on stage to go look around as there are reports that sometimes a spirit can be seen in the seats. As they are walking up the stairs, you can hear a conversation between two women. The first voice says "so many years, don't like it" at the 16 second mark. After that, another woman says "they're watching us" at the 25 second mark. Then, one is heard laughing at 34 seconds.

Male laughing

As we were doing an evp session in the basement, you can hear a male voice laughing at the end of this clip.

Footsteps

We were set up at the front of the building near the ticket booth. At the beginning of the clip, you can hear heavy footsteps that were not any of our investigators. At the end of this clip, we left in the sound of our own footsteps for comparison.

Humming

In the same place during the EVP session, we get the sound of a woman humming after asking a question.
